I was sitting in my living room last night when this thing came in view. I thought it was just some lightning and thunder...until I woke up this AM and was told about the meteor. Pretty cool.

that is cool, my wife said she saw one 2 nights ago.
She got home from work about 11:30, walked in the door and said "I just saw the biggest shooting star ever, and I swear it hit the ground about 20 miles away"
I kinda laughed a little, she said it was going alot slower than a normal shooting star, and said it kinda changed color from white light to red, then orange just before it dissappeared over the horizon
