  • How HOT is it?

    I kid you not.

July 06, 2010, 18 miles north of Allentown, PA. At 12 noon, in the shade, it was at 100*+

Decided it was time to put the saying to the test....."It's so hot, you could cook an egg out here!!"

    2:30pm on my driveway....

Today it was 101* when I got home. Tomorrow, I'l tossing some bacon in the driveway before I leave.

Well looks like it surely was hot enough to cook that egg. Mental note: never eat at Dave's house there is no telling what he cooked the food on!

You gotta love days like that, specially when you're in town and you catch every red light, the ashpalt is cooking you, your engine is cooking you, the cars around you are cooking you. I never thought to cook an egg tho, I just thought that was a manner of speech. What a trip!

That heat came through here but we only got up to the mid 90's. That's when I got the gum on my shoe.

My god, we shouldn't call ourselves the Herd; we should be the Weather Wimp's Forum!

First it's raining, then it's hot, the wind is blowing, there's an earthquake, a volcano, I have a hangnail For heaven's sake, grow a set and get over it. Are we the Herd or just a runny Turd?

By the way, pass the pepper; that egg don't look all that bad.

I went to the Grand Isle of Vermont on Tuesday. By mid morning my ambiant tempture guage was buried at 100degrees. It wasn't bad on the back roads as the trees acted like little canopies of cover as well we were following a fairly large river that paralelled the state road. Wished I had brought a pair of shorts.

Once we would get on the highway it was like riding ona tarmac in the blazing heat as the heat would bounce off and up, or so it felt like it.
