Making my yearly visit to Harbor Freight

I'm making my yearly visit to the Harbor Freight store in town. I know, most of their tools are crap but I love to walk around and end up buying way too much junk. There's always some weird thing there that I think I need. I love walkin thru Sears too but then I end up spending way too much money.

I hear ya. Craftsman too pricey and Harbor Freight has a lot of junk. Have to watch what you buy there.

most of teh HF hand tools are ok. I have a bike lift from them and it is just fine, alot of their power tools are junk, but their air tools seem to be fine

The best thing I got there was a large heavy vice/anvil -- for next to nothing. It was made in China -- I don't see how they can ship something that heavy from over there and sell it here for cheap.

Yea Id worry about the quality of the metal in them, not as good as US steel or cast. Definatly wear goggles when bangin on one

I tend to get good stuff from HF.

I'm a bit of a tool snob and buy mostly Craftsman....but HF can have some good chit
