SUCKS a big DICK!
Sent out a document to be delivered locally to a place that I have been shipping to for 6 years - Shipped it Tuesday last week and Wednesday morning they had an exception that the business was closed.
This business owns a whole BLOCK and it's a manufacturing PLANT with hundreds of employees there. Someone is always there!!!
So....exception was entered on Wednesday by the driver with a rescheduled day of the following morning, no attempt THUR, FRI nor yesterday. Not even showing that it was out for delivery. I was unaware of this.
I receive a call from the recipient after 5:00PM yesterday that the package had not made it in. I track it, which is when I noticed the exception. I'm like WTF????
I call UPS to inquire about the whereabouts! They ask a series of stupid questions such as..."are the business hours posted on the door - does the driver have access?" I'm like ma'am....like I told you before....they own the whole freaken block. This is a small city alone and not a chemical inducing, bomb making FAA regulated facility. The neighborhood dogs frequents the place!
OK mister Frank....I am generating an Email to the facility. Can you wait for approximately 3 minutes while I get confirmation as to when you should expect a call back? Well....chet.....Me being polite...certainly.
Mister Frank, please expect a call back from a representative by 6:39 central-time.
6:40 no call
6:45 no call
7:00 no call
Where in the phuck is customer service these days? I just sent a one page legal document to be delivered 30 minutes away from me!!!
I know we are only this big ----> . but I am hoping that the google, yahoo and every other crawler catches this thread. As far as I am concern....if a multi-billion dollar shipping company can't deliver a one page document that is only 30 miles away....I am deeply concerned since that is their specialty and that's all they know how to do.
