    SUCKS a big DICK!
Sent out a document to be delivered locally to a place that I have been shipping to for 6 years - Shipped it Tuesday last week and Wednesday morning they had an exception that the business was closed.

This business owns a whole BLOCK and it's a manufacturing PLANT with hundreds of employees there. Someone is always there!!!

So....exception was entered on Wednesday by the driver with a rescheduled day of the following morning, no attempt THUR, FRI nor yesterday. Not even showing that it was out for delivery. I was unaware of this.

I receive a call from the recipient after 5:00PM yesterday that the package had not made it in. I track it, which is when I noticed the exception. I'm like WTF????

I call UPS to inquire about the whereabouts! They ask a series of stupid questions such as..."are the business hours posted on the door - does the driver have access?" I'm like ma'am....like I told you before....they own the whole freaken block. This is a small city alone and not a chemical inducing, bomb making FAA regulated facility. The neighborhood dogs frequents the place!

OK mister Frank....I am generating an Email to the facility. Can you wait for approximately 3 minutes while I get confirmation as to when you should expect a call back? Well....chet.....Me being polite...certainly.

Mister Frank, please expect a call back from a representative by 6:39 central-time.

    6:40 no call
    6:45 no call
    7:00 no call

Where in the phuck is customer service these days? I just sent a one page legal document to be delivered 30 minutes away from me!!!

I know we are only this big ----> . but I am hoping that the google, yahoo and every other crawler catches this thread. As far as I am concern....if a multi-billion dollar shipping company can't deliver a one page document that is only 30 miles away....I am deeply concerned since that is their specialty and that's all they know how to do.

Unfortunately it's not just them, I've had several issues with FedEx this past year. I actually had to give them directions to my house once. The best part is I live less than 2 miles from their terminal. I suggested their driver get a GPS or maybe try mapquest! A couple months after that I had some stuff delivered to work. There's construction going on in the back so when I saw that the item was marked "delivered" I called to inquire where exactly they delivered it. The woman called the driver and came back to me asking "sir is your address the construction trailer?" I calmed myself before saying "No, my address is the 120 year old building attached to the parking lot the construction trailer is located in. The same 120 year old building with the 6' by 8' sign with the name of the company on it that matches the name of the company on the box as well as the number for the street address." Basically the driver dumped it in the first construction trailer he came to and sped off!

Sorry to hear your pain Boss, let's face it, people suck!

no USPS, they will lose anything they can

I would never trust "BROWN" to do anything that I could do myself.......We've delt with them for years, and to be totally honest, it's not the company, it's the drivers......The right driver that is familiar with the area will have your stuff dropped in a second, while a poor driver or a new driver will fugg up a wet dream......
It's like everything else if life, you have to take the good with the bad......Sorry Frank, it looks like bad took a dump on your UPS package this week...g

I feel your pain Boss. I have WAY too many horror stories to tell just regarding hiome delivery and then I managed the shipping and receiving department for a 260 employee company for many years. I suppose when they handle millions and millions of packages worldwide they are to be cut a little slack, but the errors and carelessness is WAY OUTTA LINE!

                  UPDATE:

So I call them back this morning and they apologize for not calling me yesterday. (Same song and dance they teach you in 101 Customer Service)

Then they proceeded to giving me a local number (281) 261-1708 and saying, we have this restricted number that we don't give to our customers but I'll give it to you and you can call them directly. I told the rep, OK....I'll take the number and do the work for you!!! And re-iterated as to WHY CAN'T I JUST GET THE FUGGEN PACKAGE DELIVERED?

Then...I call the (281) 261-1708 and got no answer. Go figure! I swear if I had the power of Rush Limbaugh, I would have everyone calling UPS to see if we can crash their phone system.

According to the www.ups.com tracking, it looks as if the package is out for delivery again today.

What a pain in the ass......

Once with FedEx I took off from work waiting for a package. They said it couldn't be delivered due to the fact nobody was home.... - my ass......

Another time, they said it was delivered, and after looking on my porch, my neighbors porch, and everyone else's', the package is delivered the NEXT DAY! Lazy bastard didn't want to do his job, so he told the computer it's there, and then finished his route the next morning.......

DHL I guess doesn't deliver to homes anymore, everything I order that gets shipped through them, is sent to Fort Worth, and then they drop it in the mail!

                        IDIOTS!

Our previous UPS delivery man, "Roger", was great. He was on the route long enough he knew most everyone in town. (Small town) If for some reason we were not home he would take the package to my brothers. We have a new driver now and he won't even ring the door bell.....Glenn

I agree it's the driver. I've waited in the office for something that's "out for delivery" and then there's the exception "business closed" and I'm on the phone right away saying that lazy ass MF didn't even stop his truck, just said business is closed. Our current UPS drive is great.

Yea weve had stuff sposed to come that the driver listed as "bussiness closed" and the time listed was clearly within our operating hours. Not neccesarily UPS.
Probably just didnt feel like makin the trip that day. If its prints we need them in a certain time frame to get them ready for opening shows.

I dunno, UPS paid for my new rims, pulley, and exhaust...after their driver dropped a big assed brass valve in the road in front of me, and did around 8k in damage to it.

I prefer to get em on my own.

Hrm...do you reckon you'd go to Hell for f*ckin a nun? They're "married" to god in theory right? Would that fall under the covet thy neighbor's wife deal?

Reckon it doesn't matter, if there's a Hell, pretty sure I've got a hot date ready for me there.

But are they truly married? Doesn't the marriage have to be consummated to be valid? Wouldn't that also be polygamy? And if polygamy is allowed in the Bible, which gave us the 10 commandments in which most of our laws are derived, then why is polygamy illegal in most parts of the world?
