great idea for a thread. I have a pic (was taken at my HS graduation) of my dad and Grandad standing together. I loved that pic so much, I had it blown up to 8 by 10 and it's hanging on my wall.

might take it down later and scan it in

What a great idea HH! Love the pics so far. If you had a cigarette and some pants you'd be the spittin' image... :smile

BI, your dad in the sidecar is priceless!

Sorry I can't participate; my Granny raised me. My dad was a scoundrel (among other things) and I never knew him.

          .
Thanks. He passed last April 15th. He was 77 had just hooked up his sidecar to his bike, bougt a trailer to transport it and was fixing to come north for the summer. Wasn't meant to be.

My father was a scoundrel too, met him when I was 26,long story. I hung in there with his bullshit. Glad I did. No regrets.

A story of good and not so good. I had every reason to tell him to take a flying leap but I did not. I'm glad I hung in there with him.
He still got the last laugh.

Happy fathers day to you to!
Wow you're dad looks as young as you sans the gray hair.

Sometimes I wonder where I came from. Both my parents (younger) looked polish. Dad had very light color hair almost blond.

Yes, I'm the one in the clown suit! This is my Daddy. He died in October of '88 at the young age of 54. Still miss him but will celebrate him tomorrow. Thanks Mike for starting this thread!

This was later. We were obviously having a cocktail together! This is pretty much where we lived, watching boxing, football, pool matches or any sports we could get our hands on!!

Found some pics of my Dad & me...the first 3 were a bunch of years ago...The first pic is my favorite pic of my Dad & me....we were at 11,000 feet in the high mountains of Utah at our elk huntin camp...We were just chillin' & havin' a good father/son talk..I'll never forget it......in the third pic, notice that grandpa is supervising my son Bryan who has my .300 Weatherby rifle while drinking a beer..LOL...The last 3 pics were taken during the summer of 2003....Pop had a stroke in the spring and hung on till Sept. 10th of that year...The last pic is a typical of my Dad......kinda makes him in line for being a HERD member.......RIP Dad aka Flint....Love you and miss you more than you can imagine....

FYI, think files loaded in wrong order....

I love that you still call him Daddy. I always shorten my daughter's names in my response to them if they call me "Dad" - I want to be Daddy!!
