  • Sad news in Arkansas

Flash floods in the Ouachita National Forest as of now has killed at least sixteen campers. If you camp where it is remote please take a weather radio along. This is so sad as a lot of the missing is children.

I have been watching this tonight. The amount those rivers rose in that short amount of time is crazy.

Really sad especially when kids are involved.

Could have happened at Paintsville if we had gotten that much rain in a short amount of time. We were camping in a holler. Not a river basin like Arkansas but it could have flash flooded.

I camped/ canoed down in Northern Arkansas for a few days a few years ago, at the very least they were already close to heaven when they went. My prayers go out to them and their families

If I were clever, I'd write something clever here.
