Flash floods in the Ouachita National Forest as of now has killed at least sixteen campers. If you camp where it is remote please take a weather radio along. This is so sad as a lot of the missing is children.

Could have happened at Paintsville if we had gotten that much rain in a short amount of time. We were camping in a holler. Not a river basin like Arkansas but it could have flash flooded.Jeff

I camped/ canoed down in Northern Arkansas for a few days a few years ago, at the very least they were already close to heaven when they went. My prayers go out to them and their familiesHerd #116
