Leaving for Savannah

Well, guys , I haven't been on here much lately because of our move to Savannah. We believe we will have an offer on our ome by tonight (crossing our fingers). That will be just one thing less to worry about. We are leaving in the morning to go look at homes in Richmond Hill, Ga. And will be there for four days.We have to be there by July 1st. I have about 4 homes that I fouind online, but you never know until you look at them. That area has not yielded very many homes with 1 acre or more. But, the wife will be working in Hinesville, and that is a good central location for us. Once all of this is done, I will be on more often. But, for nowthere is just a lot to do. I will try to post a couple of times this week.

AHHH Savannah. I have many of fond memories of Savannah. I used visit there all the time when I was station at Ft. Benning (Columbus). Good luck with the house hunting.

Well, we are back from Savannah. We had a real estate lady take us to several homes in the Richmond Hill area, and tried to sell us something we didn't want. Well, I found the house and property we want on Craigslist . We went and looked at it and fell in love with it. Big front porch, tin roof, 2 acres and a 2 story shop a hair smaller than my shop here . We haven't sold our place here yet, but we plan on buying this place anyway. Hell, we got to be in Savannah by July 4th . Most likely we will live in a hotel for a few weeks until the folks can get the hell off of our property , hahahaha.I have my sporty , and my little monster truck on Ebay right now, so we don't have to drag that stuff down there, and to make the extra expense a little easier. As soon as I can I will post some photos of the new place. It is at the end of the road too. No through streets and no neighborhood, and no Home owners associations. yeeehaaaww!!
