Oil (the real stuff not syn) out in the gulf

Maybe it's just me but I've been watching the live feed from the BP robot that's down there at the leak and I still see a bunch of stuff coming out of the pipe. Not sure what's going on but it still looks bad.

I was reading about the pressure down there being something like 2600PSI at that depth. And you can Imagine what kind of pressure it would take to overcome not only that, but the amount of pressure being forced out of the well by volcanic gases...I dont want to sound negative here, but I'll be very surprised if BP is able to generate enough pressure to overcome the flow of that well......

I hope I'm wrong, and soon........

wonder how much of an award they would offer to anyone who could tell them how to stop the leak

had an idea brewin in my mind for a few days now.......based off of how I have seen utility company fix a leak in a 12 water main, live, without killing the water....just a modified and larger scale idea

some locals farmers have come up with this idea but I heard on NPR radio that it would take to much hay,like tons of it to do the job.I say it's better than letting the oil come ashore.

great find mike, the farmer said in about 2 weeks that there would be an abundance of bermuda and field hay available.............you should send that to the EPA and BHO

How to STOP the LEAK!!!

Just use a bladder...... its a pipe plug that plumbers use to clean clogs out of drain pipes! Put it in the oil pipe and presurize it, leak goes bye bye.
