I'm looking for a place the my family would really enjoy, it should not take more than 6 hours driving from Richmond, VA.

    Any recommendation?

Orlando is more than 12 hours from home!!
I'm thinking of Delware or NC, but I never been there and not sure weather it worth it!

well, it is a little further than 6 hours, probably not by too much, but I think there is an amusement park at Myrtle Beach SC

I hit myrtle beach this time last year. There is a ton of stuff for families to do there, especially if you like putt putt golf. They have that aquarium and there's the worlds smallest most useless harley shop right up the street from there. It's the size of my bedroom.

How about the Outer Banks in NC or Hilton Head SC. I guess those places would not be very exciting for kids. Busch Gardens?
