    Great shots Dave....bike couriers, a different breed for sure. I know one who works in NYC, dude is a nut-job, LOL.

      OK, these dudes- loitering around the side door? They are bicycle couriers for Clustertruck. They are unbelievably fit 140# heart/lung machines who blast around town on beat-to-hell, impossibly expensive single geared track bikes. Absolutely fearless.

      Ain't no rules for these dudes.

      Probably a lighter more nimble bicycle than the old Hawthorne, with tanks, that I have in the shed. LOL
      I guess what You mean by single gear is they is a one speed.

        The steed of choice for a courier is what we call a "fixie", a single speed, fixed gear. By fixed gear, there is no coasting. You can make a set up with a single speed with a coast feature, but that is for pusseys.

            In quest of a record shop son Aaron told me about, I went to the Indianapolis neighborhood of Broadripple. Call it redneck Soho... or Greenwich Village.

            It was a very gloomy afternoon, but I ran into this stuff...

              We have some graffiti artist that hit the back of our building and they are damn good. Too bad I have to paint over it because of a city ordinance!
