Thanks...I have a love hate relationship with the Rineharts. Love the way they sound. hate the volume at 3:30 in the morning when I leave for work...
The items under the bags, on the left is an ipod control and on the left is the ipod display screen. It's a Harmon Kardon universal ipod controller that I picked up at Best Buy for $15.

Thats pretty slick. I might have to look into that. I have an IPOD Touch and I just use the aux, but its a pain in the ass to control. This looks like it would do the trick. And for 15 bucks you can't go wrong.

Yeah, it's a discontinued item and listed for near 100 bucks when it first came out...check your local Best Buy or ebay...nice thing is no holes were drilled, double face tape holds the knob on the left side and I used velcro on the display unit, wires go up under the bags and between the windshield into the fairing. I've seen where a guy mounted the ipod inside the fairing but I have my nano in one of the bags. I figure I'd need to update the music enough that I wouldn't want to keep taking the fairing apart each time!
