  • WTB shortened kickstand

I just lowered my wifes 2001 883 sportster about 1.25 inches in the rear and 3/4 inch in the front, now the bike almost sits straight up and down. anyone have a reduced length kickstand laying around for sale?

I thought about that, but I don't have access to a torch right now, and then would it tuck under the primary the way it is supposed to in up position if I did?

          You have 3 choices:

Since MFGers don't make shortened kickstands, or far and few between, you can:

          1.) heat and bend yours

2.) cut the length out and reweld it with a sleeve.

          3.) score a kickstand off an 883 Iron, or a 1200 Nightster.
