  • 2008 sportster Chromed out

buddy of mine has asked me to try and sell his sportster for him. He is in his late 60's or Early 70's and has developed diabetes. he gets light headed and dizzy quite a bit and doesn't feel safe riding any more, so he is willing to take abig loss and sell his bike
he bought the bike, then took it to a dealership and had a stage 1 done to it. then over the winter, he took it to a local Indy shop and basically said, put every single chrome piece on there that you can.

he then had an area pinstriping legend, Mike Roston, stripe the bike for him.
I have all the receipts in hand for everything he had done to the bike. He has over $14,000 into this bike, and said he would sell it for $9250

I know $9250 seems high for a 2008 883 sportster, but this bike is imacculate and only has 4300 miles on it, and tons of money put into it

contact me if interested or if you need more details

to be perfectly honest, I almost did, but I will be using these pics as I list the bike in other places as well, so I thought better of it

Man, as soft as the bike market is, that's going to be a hard sell there. Hope fully some one will come along who wants to pay the extra $3500-$4000 for the chrome goodies and striping. Good luck.

I really agree, it will be a hard sell, but with all the money he put into it and no more than he ever rode it, i understand why he is asking that much, but agree, it will be hard to get
