That loops around her belt loop in the event she falls off the bike.

The cable is for adjusting while you ride , new cost on this was $380 Bomb dog and others have one on their bikes and love it .

Just wondering if you had it on your bike too. I had a backrest on my wide glide and took it off after a while. It seemed to concentrate the vibrations directly to my back so ended up hurting after a while. Since I ride solo 99% of the time, I'm thinking about this Mike but that's why I'm hesitating.

I have the same exact back rest and wouldn't ride without it. Provides great support to the lower back, no vibrations whatsoever. The ability to adjust is great on long rides.

George, I have a backrest on my Ultra and love it, especially for long rides. I have the one that cannot be adjusted on the fly. I moved it a few times when I first installed it until I found the most comfortable position and have not touched it since. I thought about the one Mike is selling but decided for me, it was like a car seat, once its set in a good spot, I wasn't going to screw with it.

So Mike giving you both a commission on this? Good to know and thanks both of you. I have to actually get out and ride more too. I'll mull it over and figure out what to do. Thanks for the input.

It helps when backing the bike since you have more of a back wall.

Finally had time to install this and then the rain started again. When I finally got a chance to ride for a while, I like it. I'll need to ride more but think it's a good addition.

No Poop was harmed during this negotiation but the seller looks shaky to me and most likely cannot be trusted !!!
